TranStar Racing Dagger GT

TranStar Racing Dagger GT

Aiming straight to the hearts of the Bugatti Veyron and Saleen S7 is this latest supercar from TranStar Racing. Both the Veyron and the S7 held on to the world land speed record for a production car and it could soon belong to this new player. The Dagger GT is a menacing car that could deliver up to 2000 horsepower on a racing fuel mixture. It can still deliver 1300 horses on regular pump gas and that’s more than enough to smack the Veyron out of the water. The calculated clocked time on the quarter mile is only 6.6 seconds while the 0-60mph time is just 1.5 seconds. Nelson Racing provides the aluminum bi-turbo 572 engine transferring power to the Mendeola Transaxle. Only five samples of this wheeled awesomeness will be built. $450,000.

Ferrari FF

Ferrari FF

Welcome the newest colt in the stable of Ferrari thoroughbreds. This one, however, breaks the supercar mold because of its appearance. It’s a fastback (or hatchback) and it’s been christened as the Ferrari FF. While many may look at it with disgusted eyes, the car isn’t for the timid. It’s powered by a monstrous V12 engine producing 651 Maranello horses, taking it from a standing start to 62mph in just 3.7 seconds. Power is delivered to all four wheels and it has seats for four people. Top speed is calculated at 208mph. Yeah, good luck finding a road that can support such speeds. $TBA.

Lamborghini Aventador

Lamborghini Aventador

The lunacy is back for Lamborghini and their latest bull in the stable is called the LP700-4 Aventador. It’s the successor to the Murcielago and this model promises a lot of brunt to match the bull from which the name was derived. Everything is new for this car – from the carbon fiber chassis co-developed by Boeing Aerospace to the 700-horsepower L539 V12 engine. Angles are aplenty inside and out of the car and Lambo successfully designed another car that looks fast even when standing still. Expect to see these monsters around October. ~$380,000.

Spada Codatronca Monza

Spada Codatronca Monza

Doing the world a favor by looking good and going fast is the Spada Codatronca Monza supercar. Looking at its beautiful lines and the absence of any semblance of a roof makes you feel pleased, doesn’t it? It’s actually based on a Corvette Z06 with a couple of turbos added for good measure. The sans roof configuration means the car’s lighter and will take you to speeds that aren’t allowed by the laws of any land. Of course, this car comes at a price and even if you’ve got the dough, it’s doubtful if you can get your hands on one. So let’s enjoy looking at it together.
